Here are some basic things to know about your SuperWickit purchase!

  • AVOID HOOPING ON CONCRETE. It's rough on any hoop -- it can demolish a good
taping job and be violent to an LED hoop. Impact with a hard surface also risks
bending your spokes. As with all hoops, grass is the best surface of all for hooping
(and we like it best barefoot!). It is not recommended to use your fire/led hoop without
the wicks. Please use as intended.

  • STORING YOUR HOOP AND WICKS.  Heat softens the tubing of your hoop. You won't
want to leave your hoop in the car during warm temperatures OR store it hanging. Ideally
any hoop should be stored laying flat in a climate-controlled area. LED hoops should
also be kept away from water (Taping down the switch when not in use will help you
avoid accidentally turning it on and draining the batteries). Cotton socks make great
wick-covers when your hoop is not in use (and keep soot off your walls and floor).

  • CHANGING YOUR BATTERIES. Your hoop is powered by two CR2 camera batteries,
taped end-to-end and secured A battery change is required when your single-color LED
hoop grows too dim, OR when a color-changing hoop begins to glow red for an unusually
long time (Red takes the least power!).

Just undo the screw at the connector and your hoop will slide open to reveal the
batteries.  Replace the batteries exactly as you see them to the ends of the circuit wires
-- copper to postive, silver to negative - making sure they are secure..

  • RESPECT THE FLAME. Nurture a deep respect for the danger present and the reality of
the situation. Be sober. Be safe. Be professional. Proper care and use of your fire
hoop, coupled with rigorous fire safety guidelines will make for a successful, safe, and
impressive display for you and your audience every time.
